When you make a sale at Hotmart (as a Producer, Affiliate or Co-producer) your commission is automatically assigned to you. But, when it’s an international sale, how do I know in which currency my commission will be paid?
Commissions at Hotmart can be received in 4 currencies:
- Brazilian Real (BRL)
- American Dollars (USD)
- Euros (EUR)
- Pounds (GBP)
Commission policy
According to our terms of use, your commission’s currency will be determined considering the combination of the following factors:
1. The Producer’s local currency
2. The offer’s currency
3. The purchase’s currency
That is to say, if the Producer’s local currency is the same as the offer’s and the buyer’s, the currency of payment will be the local one (As long as it’s on one the currencies mentioned above).
On this policy, the Co-producer and the affiliate’s commission currency will be the same as the Producer’s. Example: A Spanish producer registers an offer in EUR for a buyer from Portugal. In this case, the commissions will be paid in EUR. The affiliates and the co-producers of this product will also receive their commissions in Euro.
Keep in mind: Transactions in Euro, within countries in the EU, will be considered local transactions.
Observations
1. In case your sale doesn’t fit the criteria above, your commission will be paid in USD.
2. If you are Brazilian and have made an international sale, you should withdrawal your commissions through Payoneer (USD).
3. If you’re not Brazilian or if you’re a Brazilian citizen who lives abroad and a taxpayer of a foreign country, you can withdrawal your commissions directly to your local bank account.
