Hotmart is the platform that manages the sales and distribution of digital products registered in our system. This way, if a charge is recorded in your invoice under the Hotmart name, you should check if you haven’t bought any digital product in the last month that could be intermediated by our platform.
The charges generated by Hotmart show up in your invoice with Hotmart's name.
The record in the invoice can also be followed by a part of the product’s name. For example, if the product you bought is called ‘How to be a Producer?’, the record can show as ‘HOTMART_HOWTO’.
Besides, make sure the purchase wasn’t made by a family member or a friend who have access to your credit card information.
If, even so, you don’t recognize the purchase, send our Support an email with the topic PURCHASE WITHOUT PERMISSION. This email should have the following information:
- Complete name;
- Date of the purchase;
- 4 last credit card digits;
- Card flag (Mastercard, Visa, …)
Our team will verify what happened and take the necessary measures. To help us in this verification process, please check your credit card invoice or your bank account statement and send us a copy showing the undue charge.
